Hello and Welcome to the first edition of Leadership Campfire! A newsletter by ARC.
Every 15 days, we’ll be in your inbox sharing stories, ideas and frameworks related to the vast concept of Leadership- and how you can apply them to become better leaders in your workspace and your life!
Here is an idea that might help you to Pause and Reflect.
One Idea. Every Fortnight.
Confession: Before we launched this newsletter, we were slightly hesitant about the name ‘Leadership Campfire’. We wanted this newsletter to be relevant to every human and not just to individuals holding leadership positions.
Just then we had an AHA moment!
When we think of leadership, we often envision it as a lofty position, reserved for those far ahead of us in the hierarchy. Yet, the essence of leadership begins much closer to home.
Within ourselves.
Leadership starts with taking initiative in your own life, carving out the path that you want to walk, and leading yourself with intention and purpose.
Leadership is often misunderstood as a position, whereas in reality, Leader is a role and Leadership is the skill. It is a skill that can be developed and refined.
At its core, leadership is about influencing and guiding others towards a shared vision. It is about bringing the best out of any individual and inspiring them to do the same.
How, you ask?
By building on other sub-skill sets: communication, emotional intelligence, strategic thinking and the ability to foster a collaborative environment.
It all starts by embracing self-leadership.
This sets the foundation for broader leadership roles.
Start with yourself, and watch how it transforms your impact on those around you.
More on this in the coming editions.
PS: We were featured in a Magazine! :)
ARC was recognised as one of the 10 Most Promising Organisation Development Consultants in 2024 by Silicon India.
What is the one thing that stood out for you in this edition? Let’s continue the conversation.
